WESTVILLE — Police are looking for a woman who stole a pickup truck from a parking lot Tuesday afternoon and was run over by an auto dealership employee.

After first posting a photo of the suspect on the department’s Facebook page, Westville police identified her as Rita Laminger of Malika Township.

Police said she stole a 2005 Dodge Dakota from a Corsinos car dealership on Broadway. She punched a worker while on the run and was charged with vehicular assault, according to Westville police.

“Information is hot and heavy and we are working to track her down and bring her into custody,” the police wrote on its Facebook page.

Westville Police have asked anyone with information regarding Ramminger’s whereabouts to call 856-456-0028.
